LBS DOCUMENTATION - USERS GUIDE

Due to the size of the LBS Users Guide it is not available for download or viewing via the Internet.

The entire Users Guide is distributed with the LBS installation or upgrade CD and from Version 6.00 onwards it can be installed on your Computer as required.

Installing to your computer as part of the installation/upgrade
If you elect to install the Users Guide on your computer during LBS installation/upgrade then you are prompted for the destination (folder name) for the documents and this is automatically recorded in the LBS.INI file.  The Users Guide documents will be copied from the CD to the nominated destination as part of the installation/upgrade.

Leave on the CD
You may elect to leave the Users Guide on the CD but to access the documents will require you to insert the Installation/Upgrade CD each time they are required.
The location of the Users Guide is automatically recorded in the LBS.INI file.

Installing later
If you decide to install the Users Guide to your computer at a later date you will need to insert the latest LBS Installation/Upgrade CD into the CDROM drive and manually copy the documents to your hard drive.  After successfully copying the documents you MUST also manually update the location of the Users Guide in the LBS.INI file before the  documentation can be viewed via the LBS.

Updating the LBS.INI file
Use NotePad or similar text editor to update the LBS.INI file.

The LBS.INI file entry (DocDirectory=)for the Users Guide must contain the full directory path to which the documents have been copied. eg. 'C:\LBS\DOCS'

The LBS.INI file will also need to be manually updated if the location of the LBS Users Guide is changed after it was installed or copied.

On the CD
The LBS Users Guide documentation can be located on the CD at:  x:\DOCS\LBS\  where "x" is the CDROM drive letter.
