Formatting and Viewing IDF & IPF batch files

Open MS Excel.
Click the top left block of the column and row heading. (above 1 and left of A)
Doing that will highlight the whole spreadsheet.
Right click the same cell and select "Format Cells"
Select "Text" and then click OK.
Leave MS Excel open.

Open the batch file with Notepad or simply double click on the file.
For IDF Files: Locate "1=Action" and put the cursor to the left of the "1".
For IPF Files: Locate "1=GLN" and put the cursor to the left of the "1".
Press SHIFT&CTRL&END simultaneously.
All the text will now be highlighted.
Press CTRL&C simultaneously. (Copies the highlighted text)

Move over to MS Excel again.
Click cell A1. (first top left white cell)
Press CTRL&V simultaneously. (Pastes the previously copied text)
Once again click the top left block of the column and row heading. (above 1 and left of A)
Doing that will highlight the whole spreadsheet.
Locate the task bar selection and change your font & size to Arial & 8.
On the menu select "Format/Column/Autofit Selection"
Save your spreadsheet.
