GST on Printed Submission Forms
Prior to the actual introduction of GST the UBF Review Group committee, consisting
of Woolworths, Coles, Davids etc agreed that the tax boxes shown on the Item
Submission and Price Change Submission forms were not required.
The Invoice Cost therefore represents the List Price less allowances etc but
excluding GST. The GST rate which is applicable was to be printed at the left
hand side of the forms. The tax boxes are therefore now blank and unused.
In the case of eUBF the boxes are shaded and not used.
For some time after the introduction of GST the tax boxes may have been used for
pre-GST data relating to sales tax.
This is a requirement of the retailers and has been in force since the
introduction of GST.
If you are experiencing difficulties from one or more retailers as to the
missing tax info you should contact the ABML 02 9688 7844 (David Burton) who
will take up the issue with the retailer for you if necessary.
