EANacert Certificate Number & Symbol Verification Number

IDF Field 23.1 "EANacert Certificate Number" - Is this field related to
"Symbol Verification Number" (171) in any way?

When a company completes the EANacert process, they are given a certification
number.  Completing Acert means the company no longer has to apply to EAN
Australia for Symbol Verification Reports for all or a portion of their products.
Therefore, the Acert number is quoted against these GTINs in lieu of a Symbol
Verification number.  You will note, the Acert number is quoted at the GTIN
level as sometimes only a portion of the vendors products will be subject to
this number.

An example where this would occur would be if a company was importing some
products but manufacturing others in Australia and only the Australian
manufacturing plant was accredited. Therefore the Australian made products
would have an Acert number quoted and the imported products an SVR number.
