Order Entry uses OLD price after effective date for NEW price has been reached
If you are getting an old price during order entry, after the effective date
of a new price has been reached, one of three things must be true:
1. The effective date of the price change occurs within a promotional buy
period for the item being ordered
2. The order/shipping/required date entered is prior to the effective
date of the new price or
3. The date in the machine on which the order is being entered is incorrect.
Please check each of these and retry the order.
A parameter setting in the Order Processing module System Parameters
enables you to over-ride the selection of the 'old' price during
active buying periods. This should be used with caution as it applies
to all orders not just selected companies or customers.
To set the parameter select Order Processing/Maintenance/System Parameters
then go to the Miscellaneous tab.
