Price Change effective dates
Read this example of pricing to see the effect of the Effective FROM dates.
In Maintenance/Item/Pricing
Enter the following pricing for Item XYZ:
Effective date of 25/11/2002
Old price 40.10
New price 40.50
In Submissions/PriceChange
Add a submission with:
Effective From date: 23/11/2002
Effective To date: Until Further Notice
Insert Item XYZ
Results in the Old & New price being the same (40.10)
Add ANOTHER submission with:
Effective From date: 25/11/2002
Effective To date: Until Further Notice
Resulted in the Old price being 40.10
Resulted in the New price being 40.50
This means that the Submission Effective FROM date must be equal to or larger
than the Item Effective Price date to see the New Price on the Submission.
