e-mail: Outbox for e-mailing submissions - "Cannot log on"
This error message is encountered when trying to send an e-mail submission
using the Outbox method.
This e-mail method uses the MAPI protocol which is an Operating System
installed service. On earlier releases of Windows this service was not
installed automatically.
A few ways to overcome this problem is to:
1. Configure the Operating System to have the Microsoft Mail installed.
-Start / Settings / Control Panel / Mail & Fax icon.
-Click Add and install the Microsoft Mail service.
-If it is not in the list, it will have to be installed from the Windows
Setup program.
Click Start / Settings / Control Panel / Add Remove programs / Windows Setup.
Locate the "Microsoft Mail" and "Internet Mail" Services which is possibly
under the "Windows Messaging" item. Select "Microsoft Mail" and install it.
Go back to the previous step and activate the service.

2. Install Microsoft Outlook 2000 or higher.
or
3. Install Microsoft Outlook Express 5.0 or higher.
