Mailing Lists - List Server
A UBF mailing list is used to advise of changes, updates etc to each interested
UBF licence holder.
A List Server is a mailing list to which you can SUBSCRIBE or UNSUBSCRIBE.
This means that if you no longer wish to received e-mail notifications
of product updates etc, you can stop receiving them by sending the List Server
a message to UNSUBSCRIBE.
The e-mail should be sent in "Plain Text". To send in "Plain Text" using the
Outlook Express e-mail program, select Format on the Menu and then click
"PlainText". If you do not use "Plain Text" the message returned by the
List Server will contain some extra meaningless information. You will still
however be SUBSCRIBED and UNSUBSCRIBED.
If you have problems UNSUBSCRIBING from a List Server then please e-mail
info@dka.net.au so that you can be manually removed from the list.
When SUBSCRIBING or UNSUBSCRIBING the FROM e-mail address of your e-mail program
is used by the List Server as the address that must be acted upon.
How to UNSUBSCRIBE
Enter the following details in the applicable boxes of your e-mail program:
Email To : listserv@dka.net.au
Subject : Leave blank
Message Body : UNSUBSCRIBE listname
Examples of listname
for lbs users: UNSUBSCRIBE lbsusers
for ubf version 4.00 users: UNSUBSCRIBE ubfusers400
for ubf version 3.20 users: UNSUBSCRIBE ubfusers320
