UNIVERSAL BUYING FORM (UBF)

UBF DOES IT AGAIN

In the near future paper based UBF submissions to some Trading Partners will be a thing of the past.
These Trading Partners will be downloading Product details and pricing from the EANnet^® database. 

This means that anybody who wishes their products to be seen (and obviously purchased) by these Trading Partners MUST populate the EANnet database with their products. 

There are 2 methods of populating the EANnet database

·        Go to the EANnet web site and manually enter the data
This method would be recommended if you were on a tight budget and only have a few products

·        Make use of a 3^rd party product such as the UBF with the UBF-EANnet Solution

Advantages of using the UBF as the choice of 3^rd party software

·        The UBF has proved itself in the market place since 1994

·        The UBF provides a low cost solution

·        Using this method allows you to configure your data offline
-         Using the web method for data entry can be very slow

·        If you are currently a UBF user, all relevant, existing UBF fields are used
-         Only the additional EANnet fields are required to be entered

·        Data integrity checking is done

·        Trading partner required field-checking is done

·        Data generated by the UBF-EANnet Solution can be sent to EANnet via FTP on a modem dialup to GE ecXpress or uploaded directly by the EAN Web Browser

The basic UBF software continues to support the industry defined, standard forms and also has eUBF (email) capability for retailers equipped with the eUBF viewer.
